Here at Zion, our Christian Education Committee is responsible for the Christian growth and learning of our youngest members.
During the months of September - June, we offer Sunday School for children ages 3 - Middle School at 9:15am on Sundays. The children start in the church with an opening devotion and then they go to the classroom for their lesson. The children also put on a Christmas Pageant every year in December. Also at 9:15am, we also offer Confirmation Instruction to our 6th - 8th graders. Please see the Confirmation tab for more information.
During the summer months, Zion opens up their church to the members of the committee through Vacation Bible School. For one week, children ages 3 - 6th grade meet together in our Opening Devotion where they sing and watch a video about the day's lesson. Then, the groups go to four stations: Storytelling, Music, Snacks, and Crafts. The highlight of the week is our Closing Picnic and Program.
