Confirmation Class ~ Enduring Faith
Our first year Confirmation students, use the 120 Bible Stories series from Concordia Publishing House. This collection of Bible stories presents the history of God’s grace-filled interactions with His people. Told through the words of Holy Scripture, children ages 8 to 12 learn God’s many Old Testament promises to send a Savior and see how these promises have been fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The series walks children through God's Word, with important life application questions along the way. They also learn the five "W" questions about God's Word through activities and Bible stories. Each activity has three sections:
Our 2nd and 3rd year Confirmation students use Concordia Publishing House's "60-Lesson Catechism Study" which offers the most extensive review of the 2017 edition of Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation, providing up to two years of instruction. With updated teaching techniques and assessment strategies, this series helps students achieve a solid foundation for understanding their faith for life. Lessons encourage connections between students and their parents, pastor, and church family to help them embrace their lifelong identity as children of God.
